The Space

The Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca was founded by artist Francisco Toledo in 1988. It hold the largest collection of prints in Latin America and one of the largest Arts libraries in the continent with over 66,000 books. It serves as a school offering workshops related to printmaking, and as a cultural centre hosting temporary exhibitions.

Crossing Night is an initiative of the Idris Naim Foundation and the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico. The residency programme launches on 1 October and the exhibitions open across participating venues from 4 -10 November. Exhibitions will be on view until 5 February 2019. The project is realized in partnership with the National Institute of Fine Arts, INBA (Mexico),The Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation (Mexico), The A4 Arts Foundation (South Africa), The Friends of IAGO and CFMAB Association (Mexico) and the Ministry of Arts & Cultures of the State of Oaxaca.
